Privacy Policy

Streemee is a personal app for tracking TV shows and movies you watch on your own streaming services. It is available on iPhone and Android. This policy explains what information is involved when you use the app.

Summary

• We do not sell your data.
• Your library and watch checkmarks are stored on your device.
• Optional household sharing uses Apple iCloud / CloudKit (iOS) or an equivalent sync path when offered on Android—not a separate Streemee login we run as a social network.
• Show and movie artwork/metadata are loaded from public catalog providers (TMDB and TVMaze).
• The app may show ads via Google Mobile Ads / Ad Manager (native ad rails). Google may process device advertising identifiers and related data under Google’s policies when ads are enabled. You can optionally buy a one-time in-app purchase to remove those ad rails.

Information on your device

Streemee stores locally items such as shows and movies you follow, which episodes or movies you marked watched, and related preferences. This stays on your device unless you use optional sharing features or clear app data.

Household sharing (optional)

If you create or join a share group, Streemee can sync titles you choose to share and related watch progress with your partner using Apple CloudKit / iCloud on iOS (processed by Apple under Apple’s privacy terms). We do not operate our own consumer account database for streamer logins. You can leave a share group and remove titles from your library in the app; that stops further sync of those items from this device.

Catalog and images

To show titles, posters, air dates, and where a title streams (US), the app requests information from The Movie Database (TMDB) (including JustWatch-sourced provider data via TMDB) and TVMaze. Those requests are for catalog content. Trailer buttons may open YouTube or your browser. “Open in…” actions may open a streamer’s app or website.

Advertising

Streemee may display native video or image ads from Google (AdMob / Google Ad Manager) in dedicated ad sections of the app—not as playback of the TV shows or movies in your library. When ads are enabled, Google’s advertising SDK may collect or use identifiers and diagnostic data as described in Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s ads disclosures. You can limit ad personalization in your device settings (for example, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency / Personalized Ads, or Android’s ads settings) where available.

In-app purchases

Streemee is free to download. You may optionally buy a one-time Remove Ads in-app purchase to hide native ad rails. Payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Billing) on the store account you use on that device. We do not receive your full payment card number. Apple or Google may share purchase status with the app so we can turn ads off. iPhone and Android purchases are separate. We do not create a Streemee login for this purchase. Restore Purchases uses your store account on that platform.

What we do not do

• No streamer account login inside Streemee (no Netflix/Paramount+/etc. passwords).
• No in-app video playback of catalog shows or movies (ads are separate from catalog playback).
• No sale of personal information.
• No scraping of streamer websites or apps for your credentials.

Children

Streemee is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the app if you are under 13.

Data deletion

You can remove titles from your library and leave a household share group in the app. Uninstalling the app removes local data on that device. For a step-by-step deletion guide, see streemee.app/delete-data. For questions about shared CloudKit data or this policy, contact us at the email below.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date at the top will be revised when that happens.
