Streemee

What to look for in a TV show tracker app

You don’t need another social network for TV. You need a TV show tracker app that catches the three things you keep dropping: the title you were in the middle of, which streamer had it, and what night the next episode airs. That sounds simple until you bounce between four apps and a Notes graveyard — and still ask the room “what were we watching?”

The problem

Continue Watching lies. One profile watched ahead. Another forgot the show existed. Someone asked “which app?” and the table went quiet. Power tools like Trakt are excellent if you want scrobble depth — and overkill if you just want something dumb and easy on your phone after the couch lights come up. Friendly trackers that used to fill that gap have left people shopping again for something that feels human, not like homework.

Movies make the same mess. You half-finish a film on a flight, lose the title, and two weekends later you’re re-searching posters from memory. A tracker that only does TV calendars misses half the living room. Streemee tracks TV and movies in one library so the job stays one app.

How people cope badly

Shared Notes threads die. Screenshots get buried. One person becomes the household memory — until they travel or get sick of reminding everyone. You open JustWatch for “where,” then still lose progress and air nights. Or you download a “watch free” looking app and discover it wanted to play catalog video inside itself — which is not what you asked for, and not what Streemee does.

Groups try iMessage lists, shared Reminders, even spreadsheets. Those tools don’t know seasons, aired-vs-watched, or US providers. They also don’t open the right streamer when you’re finally ready. So you rebuild the same ritual every night: search, guess, scroll, give up.

How Streemee helps

Streemee is a personal TV and movie tracker on the App Store and Google Play. Save the shows (and movies) you care about. Mark progress so you stop blanking on the episode. See US watch providers for titles in your library, then Open in… the streamer you already pay for. Today and Up next surface episodes for shows you’ve saved — so “what night?” has an answer without a separate calendar ritual.

Household invite lives on iPhone (Just mine vs Shared). The tracker — what, where, when — is on the App Store and Google Play. No Streemee account required for core use. No streamer logins. No scraping. Catalog metadata comes from TMDB and TVMaze; watch providers via TMDB / JustWatch. Ads may appear in dedicated rails (not as your shows); optional one-time purchase removes them.

Honest tracker disclaimer

Streemee does not play Netflix, Paramount+, Hulu, Max, or any other catalog inside the app. Playback stays in the streamer apps you already use. If a listing implies “watch free” catalog streaming, that isn’t Streemee — and it isn’t how we describe ourselves. We remember; you watch where you already watch.

Forget the show. Forget the streamer. Forget the airdate. Streemee remembers.
